Situation: A weak trough of low pressure approaches the group from
the west. Meanwhile, an east to northeast wind flow prevails over the
Fiji group.
Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group:
Cloudy periods with some showers over Serua-Namosi,
Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Eastern Macuata,
Cakaudrove, Lau and Lomaiviti groups, Kadavu and nearby smaller
islands, Taveuni, Qamea and Cikobia.
Elsewhere, partly cloudy with isolated showers in the afternoon or
evening.
Low risk of afternoon or evening thunderstorms over Viti Levu and
Vanua Levu.
Moderate east to northeast winds. Winds gradually turning and
becoming east to southeasterly from tomorrow.
Moderate seas.
Outlook for Friday : Cloudy periods with brief showers over
Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Eastern
