Situation: A moist northeast wind flow prevails over the group.
Meanwhile a trough of low pressure with cloud and showers is expected
to approach from the west and affect the group from later tomorrow.
Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group:
For Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Ra-Naitasiri areas, eastern Macuata
and Cakaudrove provinces, Kadavu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands,
Lau and Lomaiviti groups:
Today: Partly cloudy with brief showers. Isolated afternoon or
evening thunderstorms possible.
Tomorrow: Cloudy periods with some showers and afternoon or evening
thunderstorms. Isolated heavy falls likely. Localised heavy falls may
lead to flash flooding of low lying and flood prone areas.
For rest of Fiji:
Today: Fine weather apart from afternoon or evening showers and
thunderstorms.
Tomorrow: Partly cloudy with isolated afternoon or evening showers
