A southeast wind flow prevails over the group.
A trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers affects
the western and southern parts of Northern Cooks. Meanwhile, a moist
northeast wind flow prevails over the group.
Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Southern Cooks:
Over waters: Southeast winds 20 to 25 knots.
Over land areas: Moderate to fresh southeast winds, gusty at times.
Expect sea flooding of low lying coastal areas especially during high
tide.
