The Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone [ITCZ] remains slow moving over
the northern parts of the Northern Line Islands and extends westwards
to the north of Western Kiribati. Meanwhile, an easterly wind flow
prevails over the group.

Moderate to fresh easterly winds.
Moderate to rough seas.
Western Kiribati: Cloudy periods with some showers and isolated
thunderstorms.
Northern Line Islands: Occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms
about and north of Fanning island. Mainly fine elsewhere.
Southern Line Islands: Partly cloudy with brief showers.
Phoenix Islands: Fine.
