A STRONG WIND WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR THE LAND AREAS OF YASAWA,
SOUTHERN BUA, UDU POINT, COASTAL AREAS OF RA-RAKIRAKI, TAVEUNI AND
NEARBY SMALLER ISLANDS, LAU AND LOMAIVITI GROUPS, KADAVU AND NEARBY
SMALLER ISLANDS.

Situation: A high pressure systems to the south of the group
generates and directs fresh to strong southeast wind flow over the
Fiji group.
Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group:
Expect southeasterly winds with wind speeds up to 45km/hr gusting to
55km/hr over the land areas of Yasawa, Southern Bua, Udu Point,
Coastal areas of Ra-Rakiraki, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Lau
and Lomaiviti groups, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands. Rough to
very rough seas.
Elsewhere, moderate to fresh southeasterly winds, gusty at times.
Moderate to rough seas. 

Cloudy periods with some showers over Serua-Namosi,
Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove,
Udu Point, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti
groups, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands. 
Mainly fine weather elsewhere.
Cool at night.
Outlook for Saturday   : Expect southeasterly winds with wind speeds
up to 40km/hr gusting to 50km/hr over the land areas of Yasawa,
Southern Bua, Udu Point, Coastal areas of Ra-Rakiraki, Taveuni and
nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti groups, Kadavu and nearby
smaller islands. Winds gradually easing. Elsewhere, moderate to fresh
southeasterly winds, gusty at times. Rough seas.
