Situation: A trough of low pressure with the associated cloud and
showers affects the northern parts of the country whereas another
trough affects the southern parts of the group. Both the troughs will
gradually merge and affect the country till Sunday. 
 
Forecast to midnight tonight for the Fiji group:
Occasional showers and few thunderstorms over the Northern Division,
Lau and Lomaiviti group, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands.
Cloudy periods with some showers over Yasawa, Mamanuca, Serua-Namosi,
Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra. 
Elsewhere, partly cloudy with isolated afternoon or evening showers
and chance of thunderstorms.
Moderate southeasterly winds, fresh at times.
Moderate seas. 

Outlook for Sunday     : Cloudy periods with some showers with
chances of isolated heavy falls over Serua-Namosi,
Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove,
Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti groups.
Elsewhere, fine weather apart from isolated afternoon or evening
showers with chances of isolated thunderstorms and heavy falls.
Moderate southeasterly winds, fresh at times.
Moderate seas.

For Navua / Suva / Nausori :
Cloudy periods with some showers.
