A STRONG WIND WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR SOUTHWEST VITI LEVU
WATERS, KADAVU PASSAGE, SOUTHERN KORO SEA AND SOUTHERN LAU WATERS.
Situation:
A weak trough of low pressure remain slow moving to the southwest of
the Fiji group. Meanwhile, a moist east to southeast wind flow
prevails over Fiji waters.
Forecast to midnight tonight for Fiji waters:
For Southwest Viti Levu waters, Kadavu passage, southern Koro sea and
southern Lau waters :
Southeast winds 20 to 25 knots.
Rough seas.
Further outlook: East to southeast winds 20 to 25 knots. Rough seas.
For the rest of Fiji waters:
East to southeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Moderate to rough seas.
Further Outlook: East to southeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Moderate
to rough seas.
