SPECIAL WEATHER BULLETIN ON SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FOR HEAVY RAINFALL ISSUED FROM THE NATIONAL WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE, NADI AT 11:15PM ON TUESDAY 09TH APRIL 2024.

A Severe Thunderstorm ALERT for HEAVY RAINFALL previously in force for southeastern parts of Viti Levu which includes Sawakasa, Namalata, Navuakece, 
Waidina, Naitasiri, Veinuqanamosi,Tabiwai, Deuba,Navua, Suva, Nausori, Buretu and Korovou is now cancelled.  

People are advised to:
a) Keep clear of flooded creeks and drains
b) Dont walk, ride bike or drive through flood water
c) Unplug computers and appliances
d) Stay indoors away from windows and keep children and pets indoors as well.
e) Stay vigilant and monitor conditions
