Forecast to midnight tonight for the Southern Cooks: Cloudy periods with some showers and few isolated thunderstorms over Mauke and Aitutaki. Showers becoming frequent and spreading over the group later today. Moderate easterly winds, fresh and gusty at times. Moderate to rough seas. Further outlook: Occasional showers. For Rarotonga: Cloudy peridos with some showers. Showers becoming frequent later today. Further outlook: Occasional showers. For the Northern Cooks: Occasional showers, heavy at times and few thunderstorms over most places. Moderate east to northeast winds, fresh at times. Moderate to rough seas. Further outlook: Occasional showers and few thunderstorms.
