Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Southern Cooks: Strong northeast to northwest winds 20 to 25 knots, gusting to 35 knots. Rough to very rough seas. Moderate northwesterly swells. Occasional rain, heavy at times and few thunderstorms northwest of Rarotonga. Further outlook: Occasional rain, heavy at times and few thunderstorms. For Rarotonga: Some showers.
