Situation:
A fresh to strong easterly wind flow prevails over Southern Cooks.

A trough of low pressure lies slow moving in the vicinity of Northern
Cooks. Meanwhile, a fresh to strong easterly wind flow prevails over
the group.

Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Southern Cooks:
Over land and waters: Easterly winds 20 to 25 knots.
Rough seas.
Moderate southeasterly swells
