A STRONG WIND WARNING IS NOW IN FORCE FOR NIUE LAND AREAS. 

Situation:
Tropical Depression TD10F lies over southern Tonga at 3am today. It
is moving towards the east-southeast at  30 km/hr. Associated trough
and rain bands affect the group.

Forecast to midnight tonight for Niue:
Strong north to northwest winds with average speeds to 45 km/hr and
momentary gusts to 80 km/hr.

Periods of rain, heavy at times and squally thunderstorms. 
Rough to very rough seas. 
Moderate swells. 



Further outlook:    Occasional rain and few thunderstorms.
