Weather Situation and Expected Developments

Situation:A trough of low pressure to the north of Fiji is expected to slowly
drift south. Meanwhile,  A ridge of  high pressure to the south of the group
continues to directs an easterly windflow over the group.

Forecast:
Cloudy periods with a few showers over the northern parts of the group.
Elsewhere, fine weather.
Cool at night.
Moderate easterly winds.Fresh at times over the southern parts.
Moderate seas.

For Mariners:
Easterly winds 10 to 15 knots and upto 20 knots at times.
Moderate seas. Moderate swells. 

Further outlook:  Northeast  winds 10 to 15 knots.
